What people are saying…
Amy’s unique and personal instruction in the Bradley© technique made all the difference in our labor and delivery experience. Amy’s knowledge of anatomy and physiology of labor and delivery were comprehensive and compassionately presented. My husband felt very prepared (and was!) and was just the perfect coach. Thanks to Amy and the Bradley© technique! Now we are due with Michael’s little brother, William, and we will definitely use everything we learned from Amy again with this labor and delivery!
— Ginger (Licensed Physical Therapist)
My husband and I were recommended to Amy by our nurse midwife. Pregnant for the first time — and with twins — I really appreciated Amy sharing her experiences through several different types of labors and births. If she didn’t have an answer right away, she found one for us; and her encouragement helped me surrender to the best birth for me and my babies. Due to complications with the twins, I had a cesarean delivery, but the vat of information we had taken from Amy’s class helped Chris and I to make informed decisions throughout our birth experience. And the Bradley® exercises I had practiced helped me recover much more quickly than I had feared, allowing back and leg muscles to compensate for my abdomen as it healed.

As an invited speaker to Amy’s classes, I have had the opportunity to observe her friendly, pragmatic, and energetic style. Through a candid dialogue with her students, Amy provides thorough information about childbirth issues and ways to achieve an unmedicated birth. She also presents different perspectives, options, and opinions. I would strongly recommend that anyone preparing for childbirth consider taking Amy Jerome’s Bradley® series.
— Sylvia (Doula, LLL Leader)
My husband and I had a wonderful Bradley® birth experience with our daughter, and when we were pregnant with our son five years later, we took Amy’s class as our refresher course. She offered a practical schedule of classes, hands on practice of relaxation techniques, and great guest speakers that were very helpful. Even though we had done a Bradley® course before, we still learned new things! Amy cares about her students, and about giving them all the information she can so that they can be prepared for the greatest day of their lives — their child’s birth-day. We love her!!!

My husband and I felt very prepared for the birth of our precious little one after taking the Bradley® classes. Amy was very helpful and encouraging as she geared us up for such an amazing experience. We felt very relaxed and calm during the labor process. I would recommend this class to anyone!

Thanks for everything Amy — I really felt knowledgeable and comfortable every step of the way!
— Angie (Student Spring 2007)
Taking the Bradley® course empowered us with knowledge and confidence to deliver our baby naturally. Furthermore it opened our eyes to the fact that we had choices, allowed us to prioritize our birthing needs via a birth plan, and led us to our wonderful doula who helped deliver our son. The small intimate nature of the class made us feel comfortable and at ease. Without a doubt taking the Bradley® course was worthwhile.

Taking the Bradley® class with Amy Jerome was the best thing I could have done before having my first child. From the moment we met Amy, my partner Matt and I instantly felt at ease in her presence and excited to learn from her. Amy is extremely passionate about what she does and she conveys that passion in her knowledge, compassion, wisdom, and experience. Early on in the course I was having problems getting Matt to participate in some of the exercises we’re supposed to do at home. I called Amy all upset and she amazed me with her response. Everything she said was filled with complete compassion and understanding. I was thinking we should drop out because I was treating the class like a pass/fail type of thing but when she spoke to me she made me realize that everyone is different and everyone has things they are and aren’t comfortable with. She told me to let him do what he can and be happy with that and she guaranteed that he would come through the course and do very well. She was so right!!! Matt was absolutely AMAZING during my labor and delivery. He did everything perfectly despite the fact that we didn’t do the exercises the way we were “supposed to”. We labored at home and Matt stayed perfectly calm the entire time. He focused on telling me to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth. He did whatever he could to ensure that I was comfortable. He called our midwife frequently to get her opinion on my progress and when we should head to the hospital. Most importantly, he stayed out of my way during transition!!
When we finally left for the hospital he was still very calm and loving. We were both totally amazed and ecstatic when we arrived and found out that I was fully dilated and ready to have the baby. We checked in at 2:53am and Gray was born at 3:36am. It was all that we wanted in a perfect child birth and hospital stay and then some.
Amy’s Bradley® class made all of this possible. She infused in us confidence, knowledge, and strength to know that we could labor at home and be ok. It is amazing how much people don’t know about pregnancy and child birth and how many myths there are out there. Amy breaks those myths and gives each couple the tools to make the most miraculous event in a person’s life absolutely perfect.

The Bradley Method® class was empowering. As a first time mom, the only “method” I knew of was Lamaze, from back in my mom’s day. Being led through the stages of childbirth by an experienced, strong mother helped me and my partner feel supported and prepared for the most exciting, happiest and frightening day of our lives. Plus, we made some great friends during the process.

This class gave me the knowledge and confidence to know that I would make the best decisions possible during my labor and delivery. Also, the information on informed consent and post-partum care proved extremely useful. Amy is a thorough and honest instructor. She sets a tone that is open-minded and accepting; and very inclusive to dads or coaches. I would recommend this class to any soon-to-be parent.
